University day 2018

University Day, first held May 10, 1961, marks the day North Texas State College became North Texas State University, and is an annual event where we celebrate our university status with free food, activities, and music.


The National TEA event was held by UNT international and welcoming center at Willis library which coincidentally was close to Iranian New Year or Nowruz. International Mother Language day 2018

International Mother Language Day (IMLD) is a worldwide annual observance held on 21 February to promote awareness of linguistic and cultural diversity and promote multilingualism. First announced by UNESCO on 17 November 1999, it was formally recognized by the United Nations General Assembly in a resolution establishing 2008 as the International Year of Languages.
