The National TEA event was held by UNT international and welcoming center at Willis library which coincidentally was close to Iranian New Year or Nowruz. Therefore, the IRSA community gathered around and celebrated this momentous time with Haft Sin or traditional 7-S table set.
Haft-sin also spelled as Haft-seen (Persian: هفتسین, the seven seen’s) is a tabletop (sofreh) or (Haft Mewa,هفت میوه, the seven fruits) arrangement of seven symbolic items traditionally displayed at Nowruz, the Iranian new year. The haft-seen table includes seven items all starting with the letter Seen (letter) (fa) (س) in the Persian alphabet, all of which represent important concepts in Persian culture.
Here are some pictures of the Event.
